May Breakfast Networking Event

But you only work one day a week?!
Everyone knows churches are open on Sundays, but people may wonder what else we do, or even what difference it makes having a church in the village. Does it make any difference? Our three churches reach out into the community and support many initiatives throughout the week. Felicity and Paul will give a brief rundown of exactly what the church provides, what difference it makes to local residents of all faiths and none, and how you can partner with us.

Revd Paul Charles:
Paul has spent most of his working life in Christian organisations, both here and in the United States, and has studied Christian Ethics at the Masters and Doctorate level. He and his family moved to Kidlington last June to begin work with the Church of England here. He believes strongly that the church has a positive role to play in society and wants to be part of that change.
Rev’d Canon Felicity Scroggie:
Felicity has been ordained for 26 years and before that was lecturer in law and medical ethics at London University (Queen Mary College) and in the education department at Pentonville Prison. Before coming to Kidlington she worked as lay employee, curate, vicar and area dean in every one of the 16 Anglican churches in the London Borough of Brent. She is passionate about churches making a difference in their locality and being safe, welcoming, inclusive, and healing communities with porous walls.
